Number one being a swim bladder issue which is curable. The fish will usually be very lethargic, but that is because it is feeling bad rather than sleeping.

Hiya, after thinking all was well from holiday, the cory isn't doing that great. If a fish displays such behavior it means that it has buoyancy issues.

He's now swimming in a kind of spiral, he heads up to the top of the tank then spins his way back down but usually gets stuck in the plants, usually upside down. I have had the betta fish for over half year now. It is also found in cameroon.
